HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) Version 1.3, using v1.3a Category 2 (High Speed - 340Mhz) certified cables, is the only interface that can transfer uncompressed high-definition video and multi-channel digital audio in resolutions as high as 1080p and beyond (accomodates WQXGA cinema monitors - resolution of 2560 x 1600).
